Synthetic heat transfer fluid is a heat transfer fluid that has a lower propensity to form carbon than mineral based oils, thus offering better heat transfer efficiency and thermal stability. Synthetic heat transfer fluids are more resistant to fouling /oxidization . Globaltherm – syntec (high-temperature) and Globaltherm – XC (low-temperature) are examples of synthetic heat transfer oils.
