What are the properties of Jarytherm® BT06 and its alternatives?
Globaltherm® GT06 and its direct alternative Jarytherm® BT06 are both high performance synthetic heat transfer fluids. These products are used in the liquid phase in closed, forced circulation heat transfer systems.

Properties of Jarytherm® BT06
- Jarytherm® BT06 heat transfer fluid is a synthetic fluid that provides reliable, consistent heat transfer performance at bulk temperatures up to 290°C (554°F).
- Globaltherm® GT06 is used for applications operating from -40°C to +290°C in the bulk use and up to +350°C under pressure. Additionally, this wide temperature range makes it suitable for low-temperature applications and high-temperature heating processes. It offers outstanding versatility in systems that demand rapid temperature cycling.
- Both Jarytherm® BT06 and Globaltherm® GT06 deliver excellent cost performance over the fluid life span when compared to mineral oil-based fluids.
- Both fluids are more readily pumpable at low temperatures than the majority of other mineral oil-based heat transfer fluids.
