New opportunities at Staffordshire engineering firm
Staffordshire-based thermal fluid expert, Global Heat Transfer is looking to grow its team by ten after a period of exceptional growth. The company already has several expansion plans in place, including the opening of a new facility at its Cold Meece headquarters near Stone. The company is recruiting three technical sales specialists, two engineering support staff, a marketing executive, a project coordinator, a member of warehouse support, a technician and an administration assistant. Engineers at Global Heat Transfer have the opportunity to work with customers using heat transfer systems and thermal fluid in a range of manufacturing applications including food and beverage, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing and pharmaceutical processing. Their role includes visiting customer sites to draw thermal fluid samples, survey systems and report on system components.
The company’s sales and support staff are responsible for increasing sales of Global Heat Transfer’s products and services by generating meeting opportunities for the technical sales team and building relationships with current and potential customers.
“Over the last year, our international and contract sales have grown more than 60 per cent, thanks to our ability to offer innovative products and services that are core to reducing downtime for manufacturers and our growing distribution network,” commented Clive Jones, managing director of Global Heat Transfer. “Without a strong and knowledgeable team, the company would not succeed, which is why we’re investing in our workforce.”
“Since joining the team, I have progressed in my role thanks to the company’s support and career progression,” explained Dave Dyer, Technical Sales Engineer at Global Heat Transfer. “I’ve made the move from engineering support to technical sales but I still get the opportunity to manage hands-on tasks such as thermal fluid sampling and engineering maintenance.
